This family-driven guesthouse is a real gem! Suresh, his wife Suju and son Sam make you feel like a family member - and of course both friendly dogs too. Suresh picked me up from the train station once arrived from Siliguri and Sam carried my backpack all the way from taxi drop off to Kabiraalaya homestay. This guesthouse has a beautiful garden and a rooftop offering views to Kanchenjunga and other mountains. I highly recommend to have the meals in the family kitchen - I have been spoiled day by day with a wonderful breakfast and homemade vegan dinner. It was hard to say goodbye after my last breakfast - and Suresh took care to find the right shared taxi heading to Gangtok. Thank you so much to make me feeling like home. 100 points to this wonderful family!!!

Everything exceeds expectations. Behavior of owner Suresh Chhetri and his Wife Suju Chhetri who will welcome you and serve hime cooked food which is better the restaurant food. They help with luggage and any other help you need for example medicines or milk for kids. Location is exceptional and mountain view is extraordinary from property. you get kanchanjunga view also from the property. Also Flower decoration of the property and rooftop is exceptional.

Suresh and his wife are very friendly, helpful and made us feel right at home. Their home cooked food was also great. The view from their roof terrace is beautiful and Suresh helped us to decide and organize which of the amazing places in Darjeeling to visit.

We had an Amazing stay in this homestay, the family was very welcoming, caring and helpful we felt like home ! We could try the local food and even learnt how to make momo ! The place is very nice and peaceful, with a view on the valley and the mountains. It is a walkable distance from the center of Darjeeling. We definitly recommand this place ! Thank you again for everything ! 🙂

Breakfast was so delicious and yummy specially got instant hot and fresh roti while having breakfast . Location was good and satisfactory.
