The view of Kanchanjangha from the terrace was just awesome. The approach road to property is not good, but the sprawling gardens are good. Very large rooms well furnished with antique furniture. For people who like being away from madding crowds of Darjeeling, close to nature, it’s location is good. Overall, very good value for money.

1. This is one of the very few places in Darjeeling from where you can get clear view of Kanchenjungha, Darjeeling City and the Valley. 2. The lawn is huge and amazing, specially for the morning coffee and breakfast. 3. Rooms are very spacious and clean (Considering this is a Heritage Property). 4. Staff is very friendly, humble and kind. Need to mention Rinchen, Rakesh, Ayush, Cook Didi and others who went out of the way to make our stay a really great one. 5. Regarding food, the menu is a bit short, but the taste was great and the price I found to be reasonable. Cook didi made tasty food for my kid as well. P.S: They allow outside food delivery from Swiggy / Zomato. 6. The property is gated and well secured. 7. Ample parking space. 8. The property is located downhill from the Darjeeling city. The road from Ava Art Gallery to the property is narrow and steep, which is not a problem for the local drivers but outside drivers might have to be little careful. But once you reach there, its a serene, calm and tranquil place.

The view of Kanchenjunga from this property is simply stunning! The rooms are really spacious. Has such a royal charm to this place! Beds and bathrooms were very clean.

Limited food options were available . Breakfast was good , but one single option was available for all members. Location was good . Little eerie atmosphere in the rooms .. rooms are damp , kitchen doors were closed . Almirah was a bit cranky . Electric bed was available . Staff was very polite and helpful . Rooms were cleaned everyday .Water problem in the bathroom , in our room , no shower was available , rather it was broken . Bathrooms were damp and moist always . It’s a heritage home stay .. but maintenance is not up to the mark , specially on the ground floor villa . TV was not working . Room heaters were available . Fire place also was not active .Big spiders and others worm type insects were there in the cupboard , shelf and room. Barbecue facility was at extra cost . Garden views were good .. location was beautiful with evergreen nature and high mountains . Darjiling mall and peace pagoda was visible from the hotel . Cook was very polite , they prepared my baby’s food with care . Overall it was ok .
