Friendly, enjoyable place to stay. Comfortable, clean, with a working pool. Lots of Koi Carp and a few rabbits running around, which is unusual.

The bed was amazing, and the room was really big and spotlessly clean! There were cute rabbits in the garden, the fountain at the entrance was nice, and the fish were cool. The room size was really big and the room very clean. Friendly staff. The weird window from the bedroom to the en-suite bathroom made us laugh for hours!

The room was very clean and modern, big TV, nice to be able to connect to Netflix etc.. Clean swimming pool, decent breakfast, very cool Koi fish ponds. Close to a supermarket, quiet area despite being surrounded by conveniences. Only 3000TSH to get to the slipway.

It must be said but this hotel is much more amazing than the pictures show you, I absolutely recommend to stay here, it was a great experience. First of all the hospitality is wonderful; the staf is fantastic, kind and they instantly make you feel very welcome. The area is peaceful and quiet, with the occasional church songs in the background (not disturbing). The room is spacious, well maintained and contains all you need (fridge, well working AC and WiFi, kettle). I’ve never had such an extensive choice of breakfast, it really has it all and is delicious. The ladies who take care of the breakfast are really looking after you and their service is perfect. Location is awesome, close to many nice bars, coffee houses, restaurants and hang out spots. This hotel is really value for money. Asante sana to the whole team of Totara hotel, loved my stay!

It is a really nice hotel, I loved to stay here. This was my second stay, because the first time was so amazing I had to come back. The breakfast is delicious and various, the staf is very welcoming and helpful. They really look after you and are so friendly. The pool is a wonderful place to relax, is clean and peaceful. Very convenient that there is a washing machine for clothes (the hotel provides this service including soap for free!).

Lovely staff, nice and comfy rooms, wonderful garden with lovely flowers and free-range bunnies!, and a great breakfast. Fantastic location. Best value for money. My preferred stay in Dar.
