Wow, That was a warm welcome! The owner is a very polite and funny gentleman who made this the first 10/10 of my journey. We booked with own toilet only for a very good price. We could decide for a warm shower in the garden or in the hostel. The pool was warm and he also started the sauna. I enjoyed the shower in the garden & sauna & pool. We had the luck, that the northern lights could be seen, while relaxing in on the pool

Beautiful old house well refurbished, with comfortable beds. It also offers sauna and tub. The owner is very friendly, with a lot of interests and suggestions of possible activities and places to visit. Beautiful experience.

The property is located in the quaint town of Dalvik. Perfect place to do the whale watching tour. Hot tub was a hit after a long day. We even got to experience the northern lights one night.

We liked the sauna right after the outdoor hot bath. The cottage is really charming. The setting and the region are splendid. We didn't use the kitchen because there was an excellent restaurant in Dalvík (á Gregor's) and we had lunch the next day in Akureyri (only 30 minutes from the accommodation).

Very romantic old cottage with a whirlpool with thermal water. The host was very friendly and kind. The whale watching center is a 5 minute walk from the cottage.
