The hotel is just a two minute walk from the Cedars rail station to the east of Downtown. It is a converted warehouse type-building with an industrial feel. The room was very large and well-equipped including a coffee maker, fridge and bottled water. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom large and bright.

The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. We felt that the room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Many places in Dallas were easily accessible by car from this location and we also used public transportation to travel to the city center. The parking at the hotel was free unless you wanted to use vallet parking.

This is a gem of a hotel in Dallas. Our room was wonderfully sized; quiet and comfortable. The rooftop is a fantastic place for drinks, watching the sun go down over the Dallas skyline and relaxing by (or in) the pool. The hotel staff were helpful, courteous and fun and really enhanced our overnight stay. We would recommend the Canvas Hotel and its staff members in a heartbeat.

We liked the quirky 'industrial chic' decor of this historic building. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Free car parking. Top floor bar and pool is fun and provides an impressive view of the Dallas skyline. Restaurant, which we used for breakfast.
