The location was great as it was a very short walk to the Dali Ancient Town, and the hosts were beyond hospitable. The hosts were always ready to answer questions and provide recommendations in the friendliest manner. The room was cozy, very clean and quiet. It was a very short and sweet stay and we are hoping to stay here again in our next visit to Dali. Highly recommend this place.

The location was ideal right in the old city on a quiet street. The building was an authentic old city dwelling. Lovely courtyard collected the sun in the afternoon. The owner was very helpful with information about the city and its sites. At 9am each morning the owner made each guest a coffee. Room was large and comfortable, all amenities provided. Clean towels each day. Very good stay. Would stay again without hesitation.

Excellent location. Walking distance to eateries and the shopping belt. Yet peaceful and quiet when inside. We chose this accommodation as we wanted a 四合院 experience and Qingxin Guest house certainly didn’t disappoint. 郭姐 is most kind. She will be there to welcome us each time we’re home. Checking in if our day went alright. And making recommendations on places to see and foods to eat. Knowing that I enjoy my coffee, she wakes early each morning so that I can have my coffee before setting off for the day. She also recommended a reliable driver and guide contact - 大理表哥 who is very knowledgeable and shares little nuggets about the history of Dali. He enjoys photography and took really nice family photos for us. Would also like to thank the 保洁大姐 who kept our room spick and span. Always greeting us with a smile. I would highly recommend visitors to Dali to stay here.

During our recent trip to Dali, China, we had the pleasure of staying at a truly beautiful and well-located guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm hospitality that made our stay exceptional. The guesthouse itself was stunning, combining traditional charm with modern comforts. Its convenient location allowed us to explore the area with ease, whether wandering through picturesque streets or visiting nearby attractions. What truly set this experience apart was the kindness and attentiveness of the lady owner. She welcomed us with a traditional tea ceremony, which was a lovely introduction to the local culture. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, showing us where to enjoy breakfast and guiding us to a restaurant that served halal meals—a thoughtful gesture we deeply appreciated. One of the highlights was her assistance in ordering food, as we do not speak Mandarin. Her willingness to bridge the language gap made us feel at ease and ensured we could enjoy authentic local cuisine without any worries. This guesthouse provided not just a place to stay but a genuine cultural experience enriched by heartfelt hospitality. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully cozy, providing all the comforts I needed. The courtyard was like a hidden oasis—a serene and beautiful escape right in the middle of the city. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed, making my stay feel even more special. I would gladly return to this charming place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!
