Clean and calm. The room is very beautiful, seems like a minimalist style. The bathroom is clean and equipped with shower gel, body wash, hair conditioner, toothpaste and towels. The hostel has a retro style and ambiance with slow and old Vietnamese music (but really good). The host is a nice, tidy and careful person. The price is cheap as well.

It's a perfect backpackers hostel in the mid City, near the local market and the bus stop. Staff is very good The beds can be smaller compared to other hostels but it's the best you can get for their price. The place is hygienic and safe for solo travellers The staff was friendly

I had a fantastic stay at Hostel-John Cafe and Beer in Da Lat! The highlight of the experience was definitely the owner—such a kind and welcoming person who made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hostel itself is very affordable, making it a great choice for budget travelers. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and I had a good night’s rest each time I stayed. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, perfect for meeting other travelers or simply enjoying the cozy vibes. The added bonus is the cafe and beer offerings—great for chilling out after a day of exploring Da Lat. The hostel's location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, comfy, and friendly place to stay in Da Lat, I highly recommend Hostel-John Cafe and Beer. I’ll definitely be back!

The room is clean but a little small. Unlock by card so can be flexible in and out the hostel The WC is modern, hot-water is OK.

John is incredibly kind and helpful. The bed is soft, cozy and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again for future business trips or solo travel.

Quiet area near the canal (not on a busy road). Good Location (little park just outside the door), good coffee. Nice view from rooftop. Has an unfinished look that adds to the charm
