I had originally intended to stay here for a few days, but ended up extending my stay as I was so impressed. The Hotel is situated in the heart of Dahab (so close to all the restaurants etc), but feels quiet and relaxed in the evening. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly gem in the heart of Dahab, look no further than Alaska Camp Hotel. My friend and I had an unforgettable stay here, and it’s hard to overstate just how fantastic this place is. Let’s start with the unbeatable location: it’s just 20 meters from the sea! Yes, 20 meters. We could step out of our room and be on the shore within seconds, soaking up the stunning Red Sea views. Plus, being right in the center of Dahab means you’re surrounded by vibrant cafes, shops, and local life, making it the perfect base to explore the town. The rooms themselves are an incredible bargain. For less than the price of a hostel bunk, you get your own private room and bathroom. Clean, comfortable, and cozy—what more could you ask for? There’s also a lovely communal area where we loved hanging out, meeting fellow travelers, or just chilling with a book. The hammock was a personal favorite, and the friendly dogs on-site added a charming touch to the laid-back vibe. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The traditional Egyptian breakfast was a delightful start to the day—full of local flavors that we truly enjoyed. That said, it might not be for everyone if you’re used to something more continental, but for us, it was part of the authentic experience. Alaska Camp Hotel strikes the perfect balance between affordability, comfort, and charm. If you're visiting Dahab and want to be close to the sea, immersed in the town’s vibrant energy, and surrounded by friendly vibes without breaking the bank, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Nice place for a decent price. Perfect location if you want to be close to everything in the downtown, yet still peaceful inside. The stuff was very friendly and helpful especially when they had a bit of time to get to know me 😄 Nice Egyptian breakfast and u can make your own coffee too. And general ambience is very nice, the vibe is good and friendly there.

The staff was very friendly , the location itself was amazing, the location was perfectly central in between everything and they have the cutest pets on the property itself and everybody is really helpful , maintaining a cozy stay and a wonderful experience
