“Great view and rooms”

Its up the hill and you have to climb stairs with luggage but the owners were absolutely amazing 🤩 the view it’s stunning 😍 the rooms are clean and very comfortable and the staff goes beyond to facilitate your needs (for example hot water bags in bed and extra heater) The breakfast its good ok just its not a buffet.

“Great hosts and great view :)”

Angela and Mr. Alcides were extremely kind and helped us with everything through our trip. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay. Antares and Inti were also great hosts and helped us be less homesick :) The location is great (10-15 minute walk to Plaza de Armas), worth noting that you need to go uphill to reach the hotel. The uphill hike is certainly worth it for the view.

“A lovely small hotel in a perfect location”

Lovely quiet location very close to the centre of Cusco. Run by a really friendly family who were always happy to help. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with the added touch of hot water bottles delivered each evening! We also loved their super friendly dog.

“Just lovely”

Very comfortable, clean and homely, and very friendly owner and staff. Great view from the room. Was able to use the kitchen for light meal prep in the evenings.

“Perfect lovely accommodation with amazing views over Cusco”

Super accommodation within a 10min walk from the Plaza de Armas. It felt more like a B&B atmosphere than a hotel which was great really. If I am back in Cusco, I'd definitely book this accommodation again.

Luna House felt like a place of refuge! From its staff and house pets, to its breakfast and facilities, everything was top notch. First of all, if you are getting dropped off in a van (e.g. Peru Hop) or taxi to get to Luna House, be mindful that the B&B is in narrow alleyways, so you will most likely have to walk with your luggage to the nearest lane on which a car can fit. Small taxis can come some 100 steps away from the main entrance, but larger vehicles will ask you to meet them near the base of the Sacsayhuaman entrance (which is an ascent of some 300 - 400 steps). After this is take care of, you will either be greeted by Luna House's elderly owner and caretaker or his daughter Angela. You will also be greeted by an adorable cat and a dog, whose names I forget, but they are like angels to light up your stay. Luna House accommodated our request to leave our luggage at the B&B until check-in time (as we had arrived at 7 am and check-in wasn't until after noon). We used a common space bathroom that's in the dining area to freshen up and then we left to sightsee the city until we could return to check-in. The walk up to Luna House is a bit steep! It's high up, which is why you'll get spectacular views of the city from the B&B's many balconies. So, for anyone who has trouble walking up, this is something to be mindful of. Of course, you could always circumvent that by taking a taxi to/from the B&B to any part of the city. Luna House is next to many cafes and restaurants and laundry houses, so facilities are conveniently accessible. The room we stayed in was brightly lit because of its windows, and its bathroom was well maintained as well. Angela and her staff were thoughtful with a couple of hot water bottles that they would leave under the bedsheets in the evening. The breakfast was superb and you can always request for a take away breakfast if you have to leave early in the morning before serving time.
