1 night stay. Private onsen in room, which is essentially what we came for. We particularly enjoyed the view from the balcony. We relaxed and enjoyed our stay. Overall, we just felt that the value for money wasn't exactly in line.

Good service, hotel staff is nice and professional. only <5 mins walk from the hotal to Hakone-yumoto Station. Traffic is very convenient. Public / Private Onsen is good.

Great place to stay. Very close to the train station, but our room was river facing and didn’t feel like we were in the center at all. Nice view of the river and trees. Birds flying by. The food is also great.

Had a phenomenal stay here, the traditional rooms are lovely and they provide cultural attire for you to wear during your stay here. The onsens are lovely here, with the outside one having an excellent view. My highlight here was dinner and breakfast, they served all multiple course feast that had a level of quality that I'm not used to at all

Wonderful traditional ryokan just a short walk from Hakone-Yumoto station, with stunning views of the river and the forest from the room and the outdoor onsen. It feels secluded and truly idyllic, yet is close to the center. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we felt very comfortable. Kaiseki-dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented and so delicous. The whole stay was a great experience for us. Absolutly recommended!

The traditional style of room was really nice to experience, it provided a welcome break from the hectic nature of city travel either side of it. The facilities in the room were as described and the private bath on the balcony was lovely. The kaiseki meals at dinner and breakfast were both of a high standard and showed a great attention to detail. These were aided by the kind lady who accommodated us by speaking as much English as possible and showing us what to do.

Very enjoyable but overpriced. Great open air bath and traditional meals (breakfast might be a struggle if you're not into fish). Public onsens also very nice. Right by station which is good for convenience, less good for scenery but rooms and onsen face river and trees which makes it feel nice and more scenic than the reality behind.
