First of all - the (150 day!) drought is OVER here in Cuenca. No more "cortes" nor noisy generators - yay! I've been expatiating in Cuenca for more than a decade, and I booked a room at the Del Parque solely as a means to enjoy all the fabulous NYE activities in El Centro (w/o worrying if I could get a taxi to my home at 1am). My one night stay could not have been more perfect. My (Superior Single) room I believe turned out to be the best in the hotel (i.e. #4). HUGE, w/ kitchenette, THE most comfy bed, and... the VIEWS - outstanding! I could verily reach out and touch those iconic blue domes of the New Cathedral, and... the view from my 3rd floor room directly across from Parque Calderon proved especially handy for my stay as the weather for the NYE countdown was quite drizzly yet - I had a front-row-(warm and dry!) seat on all the NYE fireworks, the burning of (an amazing) "castillo", etc. - all directly beneath my balcony. Yes, yes - but of COURSE it was noisy. But when you book a room (esp. for NYE) in the very heart of El Centro (or any city center on the Planet), a good bit of noise is to be expected. Seriously, I've traveled solo DIY all over the globe and trust that I'm NEVER w/o my sweet ear-plugs. And finally, the complimentary breakfast on the first morning of 2025 - both bountiful and delicious (coffee, juice, toast, eggs and a pancake!)

Very old hotel but in the best way possible. We felt like kings and queens. Room has very royal vibes and the bathroom is really modern and nice. Directly in the middle of the historic center, so a short walk from anything we needed.

Period building, transports you to 1800s. Location is amazing, couldn’t be more central and still easy to reach from airport/by car. Rooms are very spacious.

The hotel is 20 meters from the main square and right at the heart of the old city center. The coffee shop, where breakfast is served, is a lovely place to relax and chat with locals. The hotel staff, from the receptionist to the room maid, are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and tidy.

Everything was awesome! Super cute and unique hotel, breakfast was AMAZING and the location was perfect. Cuenca was so safe, it is a wonderful city and the location and staff of the hotel made our trip special.

Friendly and arranging staff. Our flight arrived super early to Cuenca, they took our bags until the room was ready and let us check-in early. The location is great as it is just next to the cathedral and the main visiting spots.

Cuenca is a lovely city... we love this place as it was authentic. Great staff and cozy rooms. The place is located in the centre and there are plenty restaurants and shops

Great location of the hotel in the city center, friendly staff. The room was spacious, but the view was to the courtyard, so you could not hear the noise from the street. Breakfast was good. There was a normal Wi-Fi signal.
