I liked that it wasn’t too far from the beach. The manager, Kim was lovely and she came out front to meet me help me check in. She showed me the rooms and was very accessible which helped being a woman staying in accommodation above a pub.

Friendly, helpful staff, basic but practical and clean facilities, no fuss. I've rebooked for a stopover on my return journey. 5 Rivers hotel is a hidden gem.
