A beautiful little retro motel with an interesting story, being that all of the timber came from one redwood tree! Clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Would be a great place to stay if spending more than one night in Crescent City.

The bed was comfortable. The room was a good size. There was a small fridge and freezer. The room was recently renovated, which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

what a very fun place, the Curly Redwood story is quirky and great history , the rooms were massive and comfy beds , great showers . the staff were very friendly and accommodating

I booked this inn as I had to cancel Crater Lake due to smoke. Very large clean room with a nice modern bathroom. Free parking. Good for overnight stop.

The hotel has an old retro feel and the story about it being made from a redwood tree was good. The room was large.

Conveniently located next to Highway 101. The rooms are well organized (no walking next to bedroom like in most motels) and well maintained. The staff is friendly but not always helpful.

This is a classic mid-century modern motel, well maintained, and decorated in keeping with the vintage vibe without being outdated. Rooms were big, and the whole motel was crafted from a single redwood tree, and features beautiful panelling throughout. Well located for the beach and headland in Crescent City.

The whole place just looks super cool, like something out of a 1960s road movie. The staff are super lovely and it was a clean, comfortable place to stay.
