This is a quiet and very friendly Pub in Crail. I've stayed here many times and initially (5/6 yrs ago) I was disappointed BUT it was my fault as this isn't St Andrews and it shouldn't be compared. The rooms are clean and have all the facilities required. The food & menu is excellent. The staff are all friendly, very personable and a send off with an great breakfast.

Excellent service from staff. We ordered drinks for room service and they arrived within a few minutes! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The manager offered leaving our bags while we explored Crail which was kind. Lovely olde world hotel with a genuine feel of the past which is rare amongst the over-renovated old hotels. Lovely breakfast with plenty to eat and friendly staff.

We were leaving early in the morning, the staff had our full Scottish breakfast ready at 7.00 o'clock.

It’s a beautiful old building and I got a bit of a sea view out one of the windows. The hotel is right in the town centre and I was able to park in their car park.
