The mansion/ castle is beautiful and full of History, and the hosts are the nicest ever. The breakfast is delicious and overall, our stay was perfect!

The location was perfect for us to see the surrounding areas of St. Emilion and Bordeaux. Breakfast was delicious including home made produce - we sat outside on the lovely dining area as the weather was so nice. The pool was an added bonus and the garden refreshing and green. Even though the gate and the Chateau are on a country road the double glazed windows made the rooms very quiet. Marie Laure and Jean Philippe are a pleasure and nothing was too much for them they even got up at 5.30am with us the day we needed to leave to make sure we had our coffee and got off well! We would definitely recommend Chateau le Baudou for its quaintness and 17th century charm. We were a family of 5 staying for 3 days

The chateau is very nice and we were lucky enough to be the only guests. The rooms are large and confortable. The price is more than decent for this type of accomodation. The hosts speak good english.
