The renovation has been beautifully done, retaining original features with modern facilities. It’s a quirky, cosy and creative space. The owners were a lovely couple who were approachable and friendly; giving us a lift to and from the ski lift morning and afternoon at whatever time suited us. Breakfast was focused on using great produce - it was delicious!

We loved everything ! The hosts were excellent , our room with a view was cosy , warm and rustic . Just what we wanted . Our balcony was an added treat . The most relaxing room , fabulous breakfast and incredible old house refurbished beautifully . The area of Le Saxe was so traditional and totally unspoilt . We would highly recommend this accommodation and especially room 6 ( unless you are very tall or have mobility issues ) ..... Amazing !

We had a room with trhe terrace. There are stunning views of the mountains from the terrace (see the photo), and even from the bed! The house and the room was designed and furnished with perfect care for details.

Very cozy room with nice bathroom and beds. Breakfast was extraordinary with fresh fruit and/or veggie juice every morning. The staff and the hosts were very helpful and forthcoming in every way possible.

An excellent breakfast was served, actuallya huge breakfast. More than we could manage. The room was comfortable and lots of hot running water, fantastic shower !

Raphael & Megan were amazing hosts/owners. Nothing was too much trouble. They showed genuine interest in their guests and the accommodation, facilities and breakfast were first class.

The staff were excellent and even did a load of walkers smelly washing. Breakfast was great. The staff gave good eating out recommendations along with how to get about on foot and bus. It is a converted house in La Saxe village with narrow cobblestone streets. It was a very old world setting which was nice. The bed was comfortable.

Travelling for 5 weeks around Europe. This has been our favourite hotel so far. Owner Raphael was the absolute best host. You couldn’t feel more welcome. If you find yourself in Courmayeur do yourself a favour and book the beautiful boutique hotel.
