Bed and Breakfast Overview

Just 100 metres from Piazza della Repubblica, the Dolce Maria is located in the mediaeval hill town of Cortona. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and rustic yet elegant rooms with antique furnishings.

The room we were given was incredible. It had a secret old fashioned stone staircase which took us up to a balcony at the top with the most spectacular views!! Bed was comfortable and bathroom was great. Everything we needed.

There were marmalades and jams that were home made by Maria, and Maria herself was very welcoming and warm. Maria also allowed us to store luggage for an extra few hours while we explored Cortona. Our room was authentic too, just what we wanted!

We fall in the love location and historical structure of hotel. Paola is amazing person who is our host and amazing chef of ancient restaurant. We stayed short time but you should stay more because Cortona can be small but you need 3-4 days to explore.
