The setting is quite special, a beautiful vista across this part of the Coromandel landscape. The accommodation is comfortable and simple, with the emphasis on the setting and the natural landscape around the property. Breakfast was a simple affair, but the offering was delicious and home made in the main.

We had an amazing time at the Buffalo Lodge in the Studio. Wonderful hosts, incredible location, homemade breakfast, great views, spacious, clean, ... everything you could wish for.

Everything! The property is beautiful, there is a lot of care in the details;from the art, to the books and the blankets and cushions that you can take on the balcony. The view is incredible, such amazing sunsets! We were so well looked after and the homemade breakfast was delicious! Amazing value! Stunning location!

A stunning lodge high up above Coromandel Town with spectacular views. Every comfort has been thought of. There is a kitchen to use and great breakfast is included. Hosts are really nice and nothing is too much trouble.

Very comfortable accommodation in quiet, wooded, hillside location. The owners are very pleasant and helpful and provided an excellent breakfast with home baked treats each morning! There is a well provided kitchen, shared with other guests, which can be used to prepare meals if you wish. There is a lovely lounge, dining area and balcony with views out to the coast, where you can relax, drink a glass of wine or dine. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved everything! This place is a real gem. Full of beautiful and thoughtful details. Every area of the lodge has been designed with so much care. It feels cozy and welcoming everywhere. On top of that, the views are stunning, the breakfast was homemade with delicious and different options every day. We appreciated having a beautiful variety of magazines and books, delicious teas and coffee, cute blankets and towels. The fact that we could use the kitchen was much appreciated. I would 100% recommend this place and look forward to return. Thanks to Abby, Toni and Eli who made our stay really good! :)
