I LOVED EVERYTHING about this accommodation. The lady on arrival was very welcoming, the rooms were beautiful and the views were amazing! The breakfast was terrific also (lots of variety) and we were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony which had amazing views. This was one of my favourite places to stay on our camino adventure so I would strongly recommend this place for a stop on the camino, it really is well priced and just wonderful!

Our room had a large private terrace with the most amazing view. The host was very welcoming. We could borrow cutlery and plates for use. The accommodation was spotless. Everything was perfect

My friend was not feeling very well and we ended up in hospital. The lovely lady really helped us out and called a taxi for us at 7am which arrived in under 5 minutes. Later that day, the daughter gave me a lift in her personal car to carry two rucksacks to the hospital. They were such lovely people. The hotel is right on the Camino and there are a few cafes and bars just down the road. (It is also not far from the hospital!). The room was clean, and the beds were comfy. It was not noisy (only pilgrims walking by at 5am the next morning, which was a nice sound). I loved the terrace with ocean views, the fridge and comfy lounge area. A good stay and I will return here when I come to finish the trail.

Utterly fantastic! The owner is a delightful charmer of a woman—gracious, warm, welcoming. The Inn is superb—in every way. Beautiful, spotlessly clean, super comfortable in every way. Casa Balea is a beautiful, tranquil, respite overlooking the sea. And, if you’re lucky, you too will spy porpoises cavorting in the sea. I have been traveling the world by bicycle for five years and 72,000+ kilometers and have stayed in hotels almost 2000 nights around the world. I have enjoyed many beautiful hotels around the world—on every continent—-and Casa Balea is my favorite! Stay here—you will be very, very happy if you do. Peace to one and all! Michael Himes
