Great location for stop over travelling from uk to south of France. 15 minute detour from the motorway and absolutely worth it. Such friendly owners couldn’t do enough. Amazing, home made food, highly recommend the evening meal. All so well organised and thought through. Beds super comfortable, rooms clean. We all wanted to stay longer!! Will be back. Thank you 🙏

La Marelle was perfect for our purposes, i.e. to explore Beaune and the surrounding area. It is located about 15 minutes drive from the centre of Beaune. The facilities at La Marelle were terrific -- a large bedroom and excellent bathroom and comfortable beds. The best part, though was the large common room and dining area with a large fireplace. The building is a carefully remodelled farm house complex, parts of which date back 300 years. There is also a swimming pool, though our October weather obviously prevented its use. Our breakfast was generous and varied (including eggs, fried or scrambled), good coffee, cheeses and breads and homemade jams. One night, it was so windy it seemed inadvisable to go out for dinner, so our hostess Min put together a delicious charcuterie board and fresh fruit salad so that we were able to stay in. Good wines accompanied the meal. A dinner meal is generally available if sufficient notice is given. It is particularly worth mentioning that our hosts Min and Xavier Dalon were attentive, interested in helping us find things to do and see and were generally charming.

Min & Xavier were great hosts. They have a lovely place. It is a little more than 15 minutes from the main motorway, but definitely worth the extra time. Very relaxed atmosphere, nice, clean and spacious rooms. Silent aircos, good beds. New bathrooms. Drinks and food all up to standard. Breakfast was very nice as well. We were there with our 3 kids. Table tennis and pool were very much appreciated. We did a late check out, as we enjoyed our B&B a lot. Thanks again! Maarten
