Excellent location for exploring County Durham and Northumberland, the cottage was clean and had everything we needed for the week as a family of 3 with a young child. The kitchen is well equipped and the wifi was good. The beds were comfortable and the linen and towels were fresh and fluffy which we have found is rare in holiday lets! Check in was easy, and there were some lovely snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us which was very much appreciated after a long journey. Beautiful views from the cottage, and some lovely cows in the field next door. There were also some very friendly cats that our child very much enjoyed meeting.
