Heritage property with old Raj type furniture. Understand it was earlier used by Christian Priests and is 170 plus year old structure. Location is great and staff warm. Food particularly the Indian Railway mutton was good. Though weather stopped us from taking the morning walk arranged by the hotel, thought it was a good idea to organise that,

Excellent property from Taj in Coonor. An old mansion expanded and upgraded to luxury hotel. We stayed in Deluxe room and was spacious to accomodate a family of 4. The buffet breakfast which was complimentary had wide spread of items. Property is strategically located and away from traffic and noise. The staff from front office, through restaurant to housekeeping always welcome you with a smile are were really welcoming and available at service. Worth mentioning the help and guidance extended by Management trainee Subhakesh. He was very cordial, guided and even walked us to some nearby attractions outside property. He explained the history of mansion and helped us plan our itinerary during our stay at the property.
