Really great cabins located ideally just after Yellowstone and right near the Beartooth Highway. Plenty to see and do in the area itself. Cabins were located right in the woods, which was nice and quiet. Everything you need in this little cabin, with chairs and bbq amenities right outside.

Outstanding location, quiet cabin in the woods. Staff amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable about the local wildlife leading to excellent wildlife sightings in the week we were there.

The location is incredibly beautiful and really close to the entrance of Yellowstone and the Lamar Valley. The staff is really nice and they have a really nice sitting area in front of the shop.

The cabins have everything you need: beds, full bath, small kitchen, and front porch. Its located directly outside of the northeast entrance of Yellowstone. Excellent location if you are planning to visit the Soda Butte & Lamar Valley areas of the park. It was myself, my wife, 2 year old, and 6 year old. We had no issues with space. You spend very little time in the cabins when visiting Yellowstone. But the little time we did spend was perfect. Staff was nice, grounds were clean, beds were comfortable, heater worked great, shower had instant hot water. The firepits outside the cabins are great at night. Everyone sat around as families enjoying the cold night, star views, and silence of the Montana wilderness. Of our 18 days on the road early Summer of 2024, Silver Gate was our absolute favorite spot to stay. Very remote, quiet, family friendly, and relaxing place to stay after a long day in Yellowstone.

Excellent location. You are surrounded by wildlife and off the grid. We had a bison outside our cabin and a bull moose in the nearby clearing. You could sit out front the cabin and watch big horn sheep up on the mountain.It was beautiful and we even chose it as our spot for family pictures.
