Perfect location. Can sit out the front and watch the sunset. Unique room cut into the hillside. Also access to a kitchen and tea/coffee and milk. Microwave and stove top. So can make your own breakfast and dinner if wanted.

Couldn’t get over how cute this place was, literally staying in a cave. The property is all at the back on the town and up on a hill with well lit packing right by the door which just felt more secure. The place was spotless very clean throughout. Owners very friendly and accommodating, I was arriving late and they arranged an after hours check in for me no hassle.

I loved my stay at the Underground Motel. The owners were very helpful and friendly. There is a free airport transfer from this motel which I very much appreciated. Erin was so kind and offered to collect me from my previous accommodation and take me to Underground Motel as it is a little way out of town. It is about a 15-minute, pleasant walk to the shops on Hutchison Street. I loved having a microwave and fridge in my room so I could cook my own meals. Bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. I loved the experience of staying underground. It was so quiet.

Both the room and bathroom was clean. The communal kitchen was clean with adequate tea and coffee making facilities with milk provided. Equipped with facilities to make your own meal if desired.
