This is a good location for the whole Traws Eryri area, with easy road access from Conwy. The rooms are spacious but mine was cold , though a fan heater added heat to the background warmth from the small radiator. Well equipped bathroom with a very welcome bath. Staff are helpful & friendly - with one ( young male) exception on the bar. Food was usual but ok pub standard , so better if you keep it simple.

Our stay at the Groes Inn was the perfect little cosy adventure away. The Inn itself is a very cosy warm atmosphere, with beautiful mountain views in the distance. We got a signature room with mountain view and it was well worth the money, the room was cosy and had everything needed to facilitate a perfect weekend away. The Inn is placed near the town of Conwy and not too far of a drive away to Snowdon and the surrounding mountains, we thoroughly enjoyed getting to explore. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was amazing, it is clear that they prioritize the guests at the inn. The restaurant attached to the inn was cosy, comfortable with top-quality customer service. My partner particular enjoyed the fire heaters they had which created the perfect atmosphere. The food was very delicious at a really reasonable price, no more expensive really then what you would spend at a Harvester.

Stunning location, building was beautiful. Had dinner in the conservatory and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and food was great.

The staff and the location are excellent. The food (especially breakfast) and the beer are good.
