To avoid disappointment, it is recommended that reservations for the castle’s dining and spa facilities be made well in advance.Please note that acceptance of pets is subject to availability along with height, weight and breed restrictions. If you wish to bring a pet with you, we require that you contact the hotel directly to establish suitability of your pet prior to making a reservation.When booking for more than 7 rooms either as part of one reservation or through separate reservations deemed to belong to the same reservation - then different policies and additional supplements will apply.

Both Kevin and Rose and their teams were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfasts superb. We had lunch on the Terrace, and dinner in the Wilde ,and very much enjoyed both. The person who cleaned our room did a great job, and the valet was exceptional, taking us to Ashford Castle for dinner, and to the boat trip etc as well as parking and retrieving our car. Very quick to spot things. He was superb.Check-in was great. We arrived about 4pm on 19 March.Best Eggs Bene ever for breakfast ! Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights; warm and friendly atmosphere.Lovely food. Great service. We thoroughly enjoyed our treat to ourselves! Lunch on the patio was so relaxing! Great service and food there. Recommend the boat trip. All very relaxing. Check in was efficient and pleasant.

Breakfast was lovely and fresh with excellent service. Staff were great, friendly and welcoming. The bar platters in the evening were very good. Can still use all the facilities including the Castle, which was great.

In the west of Ireland, rainy days are the norm—you expect them. Despite the weather, you can still enjoy walks and other outdoor activities. However, what was truly disappointing was that the pool was closed for maintenance and had been for some time. This should have been clearly communicated to us before we made our booking. Additionally, there seemed to be a lack of staff available during breakfast, which affected the overall experience.

Peaceful, comfortable with very good service. The suite we had was lovely. The food was good, but on a par with other hotels we have stayed at in Ireland.
