Very good value for money. The room was adequately sized for our needs. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom had a shower. The walls are a bit thin but the site enforces a strict noise policy late at night. Consequently, we were not disturbed. There was adequate parking most days within the site and potential to park outside it too. The location was outside Cong but just about walkable.

Despite arriving well after check-in was over, the owners had arranged a way of my getting into the property, which was very welcome after a much delayed and very wet journey to Cong. The en-suite double bedroom was exactly what I needed for a long undisturbed night's sleep. Plenty of on-site parking was also very handy.

Very friendly people, both staff and guests; it had a bit of a communal vibe to it, not too tacky, just warm. Cong is still floating on the fact rhat a movie ("A Quiet Man", with John Wayne) was shot here some 75 years ago.

Everything, was Of An Absolute Excellent Standard !! Superb !! I loved the layout of the entrance to Grounds of This Impeccable Establishment, from the Security Gate Barriers you enter! The Campsite and Glamping Layout is so very neatly designed and Enhances The The Entire Journey into and around the environment! From.the Barrier Gates right up to throughout the Site of all the Accomodation levels ! The Hostel and it's "on the button" facilities,to name but a Few! To the Car and Motorcycle Parking in on-site ! To the Dining room areas within the Hostel,and the Choice of eating Breakfast indoors looking out to view the surrounding Accommodation of The Camping Tents ,Glamping Tents ,which is Most Peaceful, Indeed to Wake Up To Such Tranquil,Peaceful Relaxing and Scenic Areas!! It's A True Breath of Fresh Air ,If I may say so!! To Be Able to Thoroughly Enjoy All of These Amenities,and Enjoy Your Breakfast with Family, Indoors and Outdoors !! ! It's Absolutely Breathtaking! You could not ask for a better start to your day or your holiday !! Everything is so neat,tidy, all facilities are Superb !! ! AND The Surrounding Views,are Breathtaking !!! I Enjoyed My Stay So very very much !! So 🙏☘️ I Will return again to Such A Lovely Haven of such Peace, Tranquility and The Superb Staff and Super Facilities; that This Outstanding Establishment Offers, To All Who Stay there!! The base house of the campsite is very well equipped and clean. We had a family room with its own bathroom but also the common sanitary facilities were always clean and tidy. The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. The communal kitchen had everything you need to prepare your own food (stove, pot, dishes, toater, microwave, kettle, ...) There were also many other possibilities to spend time with the family even in bad weather (common room with TV, small dining room, ...). In addition, the location was very nice and quiet near the lake and the village.
