Fantastic location in the centre of Comporta. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and gave us great recommendations. The whole inside and outside of the property has been thoughtfully and stylishly finished to a high standard. The room was compact, clean and beautifully presented.

Comfortable, clean and stylish hotel. We had a large balcony which was lovely to relax on after a day at the beach. Lou and Charly were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and Charly’s chocolate and banana cake is delicious ! It was a nice touch having a sample of Lou’s perfume. Very enjoyable stay.

You have to stay at this hotel when coming to Comporta. Charlie and Lou are exceptional hosts. They send you a welcome document with lots of useful information before you check in. The breakfasts are beautiful served in such a gorgeous setting. Their attention to detail is incredible and they have thought of everything and more. Very cool and stylish hotel close to the village with numerous restaurants, bars and shops.

Fabulous small hotel close to the centre of Comporta and a 20 minute walk to the beach through the rice fields. Lou and Charlie are great hosts and make you feel very much at home. Breakfast of fresh local products is served by the pool. We will definitely return soon.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel that I can’t recommend enough. So many thoughtful personal touches from the owners that make it such a wonderful place to stay. Loved the decor, the pool, the breakfast - I could do go. I really hope that I get to come back to Comporta and without doubt, I would book to stay here again. My partner and I loved it and would highly recommend.

The guest house is comfortable and the design is well-considered and beautifully understated, its immaculately clean and the pool area is fab. The bed was big and very comfortable and the hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Well kept, tidy, lovely pool, feels like home. Within walking distance of some really good restaurants. The hosts are lovely too!

We loved everything about Casa Idalia. The beautiful room with the most comfortable bed. The gorgeous breakfast. The location! The incredible hosts who gave us so many brilliant tips.. we are looking forward to going back already..

The location was fantastic, our room was good, we had a lovely balcony and the bathroom was a good size . The toiletries were divine . Breakfast was delicious, fresh bakery every day with continental ham and cheese
