We came in the town of Como in the middle of October. I had stayed at Residence Diaz earlier last year with my bestie. This time a was on a romantic trip around with my partner. We spend three amazing days there. As I had said previous time, Residence Diaz is a great place in the heart of Como. It is located in the old town of Como and stays just 10 minutes by walk from the lake and from the San Jovani train station as well. The location is really nice. It is so close to all the shops, restaurants and especially to the port where you could take a boat and explore all the beautiful places around the lake. The check in was very easy. We didn’t need to meet the staff. We received the pass for the front door in the morning of our arrival and the room has waited for us in the afternoon. The room actually was a suit with bedroom and a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and large enough. Kitchen was equipped with a table in case you need to have dinner at home. There is a vending machine in case you want a strong espresso. It is located at the parter floor next to the storage area. I definitely recommend it. It’s great Italian taste ! Bathroom is clean and large enough. Over the whole I definitely recommend Recidence Diaz. It is really value for money and you won’t stay disappointed.

Amazing location, everything we needed. Modern, clean and comfortable in an old building. Great help by the team with parking and restaurant suggestions. We loved being in the old city. Hope to come back again.

The hotel was in a pleasant district that felt safe, even in the evening, and was within walking distance of the harbor. Our room was in the attic, but it was spacious with a modern, clean bathroom. There was also a small area for cooking, equipped with a kettle, plates, glasses, tea bags. and a moka pot. There was also a vending machine and coffee machine on the first floor, which could be convenient for guests checking out early.

Great, convenient location! Host was very good with the details about Cinque Terre which was handy. Only downside is the noise from the train, which I wouldn't recommend if you're a light sleeper. Other than that a great place to stay!
