Very good location. Close to bus, train & ferry stations. Close to the lake, & very close to the city centre, shops, restaurants & many cafeteria. The hotel is old but very clean & cosy.

Location excellent, fabulous water views although the hotel is old and tired, passageways to get to the room were very much in need of a revival, our room had lots of light and was very quiet, this we just loved, it was extremely clean, bed linen and towels changed daily which we just loved, furniture and curtains need some attention. Dining Room meals were very good quality and staff were pleasant and helpful in every area of the hotel.

It's all about people for me: reception were courteous, quick. Bar staff were friendly and very accommodating. Everything was straight forward, simple, easy.
