The property was clean, the showers were exceptionally clean considering it’s a hostel. The beds were comfortable enough. Aircon was great. Good storage space for a hostel. Breakfast was good. The staff were the best part of this stay. They were really accommodating. I wasn’t well because of food poisoning from a western food place. So as you can imagine I needed a lot of toilet roll and was vomiting frequently. They had no issue accommodating to my needs. They didn’t pressure me about not eating breakfast. They went as far as to making me a homemade remedy to help ease my symptoms. I would stay here again. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay. I hope you too get the hospitable experience we had.

The Ambience of the rooms, comfortless, genuine service by the entire team at the Hostel republic, great living room space , safety , near to Galle Face attractions only 3 minutes of walk to Galle Face greens, safe and feel home..most of great internet speed, very comfortable beds to rest and sleep, it's such a good place to stay while in Colombo. None.

The location of the property top notch east to get around , 3 minutes walking to the Galle Face Beach areas, good vibes , great comfortable beds and toilets and washing rooms, great internet speed and other services as arranging transportation, a swimming pool is next door for 2000 LKR for 3 hours.unbeatable fare rates, you would be tempted to stay there repeatedly it's an attractive good vibe place, thank you the Manager, Nalins , Priyantha for your kind and helpful services, had a very pleasant and happy stay, highly recommend for travellers who wants to stop by and stay in Colombo , it's in Kollupitiya Galle Face Terrace.

Very nice atmosphere. The rooms have A\C. Charu made my stay extra special. He treats the guests like his friends and even gave me a ride on his tuktuk.

The hostel was in a good location and easy to find, it is a little piece of peace and a good place to chill out and meet other people. Very near to Galle Face and the sea. The staff were friendly and accommodating and got us checked in much earlier than expected which was great as we were tired after 24 hours of travel and no sleep. Also it was great to have a cool water dispenser/filter to refill bottles.
