This place is absolutely gorgeous. A quiet little haven in bustling Colombo. Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms, lovely pool underneath mango trees. Just wonderful. Really great value for money too. Sajith was so helpful throughout our stay and really looked after us. Gini restaurant was amazing! Some of the best food I ate all holiday.

Havelock Place Bungalow can only be described as excellent. It probably isn't for everyone as it is a typical colonial Bungalow dating back 100 years so if you want modern best to look elsewhere. On the other hand if you want history and an oasis of calm in an otherwise hectic city then look no further. There is a small swimming pool to cool down in and a restaurant on site. However, we only had breakfast during our three night stay. One was Sri Lankan style, another was a delicious quirky take on an English cooked breakfast and the third was all tropical fruits with yoghurt and honey. Top marks to all three. Finally, all the staff were superb and attentive without being obtrusive. It was a wonderful experience.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this beautiful bungalow. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious, staff friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

Exceptional experience in a classy hotel, resembling colonial mansion. Ultra clean spacious apartment offering comfy stay in style. Hotel grounds are full of flowers, and the pond is pleasure to watch during a day or after dark. Location is good, as it’s relatively close to road but not noisy at all. Good hotel service with attentive staff. Dinner at GINI Restaurant (belongs to same business) was a true delight; just be prepaired that it’s pricey.

Feels more like a private home than a hotel. Comfortable bed in airy room. Door leading out to seating by pool. Di restaurant Gini which is one of best restaurants in Colombo, and you get a discount if staying at hotel. V close to Havelock City Mall for shopping, massage and mani/pedi!

The restored heritage building was nice. Our room was large with large bathroom and all was very clean. The Sri Lankan breakfast was very nice.

The place is just fantastic. The stunning colonial building and it's interior invites to relaxe and to feel absolute home. We stayed in the beautiful furnished triple room as a family of two with two small kids. There is a huge double bed and a single bed in a separate room. The pool was very nice build into the scenery and accessible directly from the room.

The room was a good size. Showers were the best that we had anywhere in Sri Lanka. The pool was great.
