Positives Friendly staff Room was comfortable and spacious. Epic bathroom and view. Accessible tv Excellent location Great vibes on the pool and bar deck. Great value for money. Excellent variety and breakfast choice. Food lovely in the bar. Cocktails also divine. Lovely and attentive bar staff Negatives If you’re facing the train track, might be worth thinking about double glazing your windows and the 5am train coming through is a rude awakening. It’s a shame that if you have late flight you’re not allowed to use the pool and bar facilities, which included purchasing food and drink (standard practice at any other high end hotel) More pool appropriate seating with some shaded options At breakfast there was the option to order a latte, paid, which I don’t mind at all. When I asked the wait staff they said I could get one from the buffet, which I knew I couldn’t. Then when I asked if there was a dairy free option as I’m lactose intolerant and noticed the cafe in the lobby had dairy free options, I was told no and he walked off.

Lovely hotel, and it's very new and clean. The pool and the bar in the rooftop are nice and good to relax after a long day. Breakfast has a lot of variety, but it gets very crowded. The only down was that 2 weeks prior to my stay, I kept emailing the hotel spa to book a massage and they were never able to accommodate me due to lack of female therapists, which I don't find normal. This was disappointing as I was looking forward to it. Other than the spa's lack of willingness, everything was smooth, highly recommend it.

Fabulous - loved the large room & big bathroom! Loved the view from shower to ocean! Loved the daybed beside sea view window! Loved the pool/bar/loungey area!

This hotel is sooo nice! We absolutely loved it. We didn’t really want to leave the hotel as Colombo seemed a bit chaotic for us but luckily from this hotel we didn’t need to at all, we arrived late and got room service. Then the day we were leaving in the afternoon so had breakfast and went to the gym then sunbathed by the pool. The breakfast was great, the pool wow was beautiful! And even the gym the view from the treadmill was gorg!
