A beautiful hotel with excellent staff, facilities and everything! Loved the salt water pool and sunbeds at sunset, the travellers bar for a cocktail and casual dinner, the excellent and humongous breakfast buffet and a gorgeous room with a huge bed. Loved it.

Historic hotel on the waterfront. It retains a lot of charm, which means it isn't a modern hotel experience. We just spent the night and had to leave before breakfast. Probably best as an overnight location.

The location on the Indian Ocean is unique and the history of the hotel is interesting. We were impressed with the hotel museum on 1st floor. We also enjoyed the quality of the bar meal we had on the night of our arrival and the nice and professional employees in the bar. We enjoyed the many delicious dishes we had the next day at breakfast where we were lucky to be served by a really nice and very professional young lady called Malsha. All of that was good.

The entrance was welcoming and the reception staff were good. the luggage was handle by the porter staff who brought them to the room. the choice of food was amazing, tasty and good. The sea view was lovely.

As I know this place since 1995 I went here for nostalgic reasons. It remains good, although I don’t like all changes that have been made.

Beautiful and historical hotel - amazing large salt water pool. The restaurants are great (we ate at the buffet for breakfast and lunch and the Cuban restaurant for dinner).
