There is a nice big pool with a view of the lake. I am grateful they did what they could to out us in the rooms we wanted. Food at the buffet was ok, though I appreciated that they had a small cafe downstairs for more modest bite. The gym was enough for a workout.

A short distance from the train station, this large hotel is well located to explore Colombo. The room was spacious, beds comfortable and quiet. We were able to leave our luggage after check out as we were flying out of SL late. The hotel is top notch and deserving of its 5 star rating. The breakfast was so varied, and we particularly felt the evening buffet was exceptional value, with such a range of cuisines to choose from. Pool area was also great and we could watch the birds on the lake.

Lovely spacious room and delicious breakfast buffet. We only stayed one night on arrival in Colombo but comfy beds and were able to request a cot easily for our baby girl.

Staff were helpful and friendly,very big pool with nice view and big garden,very comfortable and big bedroom but the best part was for us the breakfast and dinner buffet.Chef and his team do amazing job.I have been with my family at many different buffets all over the world but this was one of the best one we have ever tried,every single food was increadibly tasty with very reasonable price We will definetely come back again.

Large tourist hotel, could be anywhere in the world. Extensive breakfast and large pool but very busy with tour companies. Clean, comfortable room and bed, a little tired.

We came to the hotel at 9 am after an overnight flight, waited in the lobby till 2 pm because the hotel was packed and no availability for early check-in, however all the staff were very nice and supportive, the employee in the reception gave us a room upgrade for our long wait (much appreciated) .. the hotel food was nice and well diversified and the pool was amazing, clean and had a great view!

We had a fantastic stay! A big thank you for the room upgrade—it was much appreciated. The pool was amazing, with the water at just the right temperature. The buffet spread was excellent, offering a great variety of delicious options. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the service was consistently good. A special shoutout to Wasantha for ensuring a smooth and quick check-in. Overall, a wonderful experience—we’d love to return!
