I wasn't sure what to expect, as this was my first trip abroad in a long time and I was rather out of practise, but the location was pretty much perfect, being a ten minute walk from the main station and about four minutes from the local S-Bahn station, with plenty of shops and places to eat nearby too. The room was well appointed, if basic - but for a traveller on a budget it's everything I needed it to be and more. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, too

Location was good - close to lots of restaurants. Walking distance to the Cathedral. Although the room is small it was comfortable. Shared bathroom is with only one other room on the same floor, so I never noticed anyone else using it.

Great area, close to Köln Hbf. We slept very well and the room was very clean. The beds and pillows were excellent.
