The location was superb - close to the cathedral, train station, river and many of the Christmas markets. Breakfast was good, especially the freshness of the bread!

Very handy location to Cologne (Köln) Central HBF train station. Friendly welcome when we arrived by the man on reception who even helped with one of our bags down a few steps to the elevator 🛗, which we also were grateful for. Friendly service again later that evening and in the morning too when we were checking out. Twice we arrived to find them vacuuming the lobby area and keeping everything spotlessly clean. Our room was small with 2 twin beds, but perfect for my son & I on a one night stay. The room was quiet and clean, with a private bathroom ensuite, luggage storage area and some space to hang clothes.There was heating in both the bedroom and bathroom areas that we could adjust as needed and a window that opened to let in fresh air if we wanted. We also noticed a small fan provided in the room, however we didn't need it as our stay was in December and it was a pleasant 88 degrees Celsius outside. I would definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Cologne/ Köln 😊

Very helpfull reception staff. Made effort to store our luggage. Even a cleaning lady helped with that. Small bathroom but very good use of space. Shelves especially usefull. Room also small, but good cupboard space and desk with chair.
