Location good. A bit far from city centre. A traditional bakers shop opposite the hotel allows for a hearty breakfast. No need to have it in the hotel

We stayed just one night. Spacious room. Hotel's a brisk short walk from the U-Bahn station connecting it to central Cologne. There is a grocery store just next door which is good for snacks, water, drinks among others. A couple of restaurants / pubs and pizza places along the way for food or take away. The building is pretty and the area seemed to be residential and cozy.

Self - Check in instructions at night were a little less clear , but I managed … Room was nice and clean and owner offered a coffee in the morning while leaving and was also quite polite … But there was air conditioning or fan so in the summer very hot to sleep .. Also the top floor did not have WiFi connectivity properly ( was connected at the lobby ) , but zero bars on the top floor …

The staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was well presented with plenty of choice. Off road car parking was really beneficial. The hotel was situated close to the river Rhine and close to the tram which was great to travel into the city. Some good restaurants nearby.

The room was a fairly standard sized double bedroom for a small hotel. While there was not much of a view from the bedroom window, it was quiet for the most part. Breakfast was excellent with decent variety. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and the hotel was conveniently located for public transport and access to restaurants and supermarkets.

The front of house manager was amazing! Went out of his way to ensure that we had a memorable stay. We will surely return when we visit Cologne again.
