Everything was better than I could have imagined. The location, the vibe, the building, room, breakfast and of course the hosts Dawn and Mark are just good people. Almost stayed in air bnb.. so glad we didn't!

Flexible breakfast time with Freshly cooked breakfast of eggs Benedict. Dawn was lovely, approachable and friendly. Bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was absolutely awesome!! The location is far enough from the highway but close enough to walk to get around. This is a great place to stay. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

What we like about Country Encounters is the homey feeling, the comfort of the rooms, the excellent breakfast, the view from the upper deck and the beauty and comfort of the lower deck.

The breakfast was excellent. It was homemade and so good. It’s one of the reasons I stay there. Eggs Benedict with hashbrowns, fresh fruit, homemade banana bread, yogurt. OJ, and coffee you cannot beat that.
