I like every thing about the guest house from the location to the view I got from my room and then the room was clean.

The location was good, uphill from the square but not more than 5 minutes, the bed was comfortable and the toilet was clean and accessible.

If you're looking for a budget room in a location right in the heart of the old town. You found it. The accommodation is well represented by its description, nothing more, nothing less. It's a fair deal, the bed sheets were clean, fresh, white and much better quality than I would have expected. Huge fluffy towel! The view is gorgeous, right out over the city as far as the Forum Shopping centre on the other side of the river. I enjoyed watching the dusk fall and the lights appear before heading out to explore. I am doing a short course at the Uni and this was a good location. I would return in warmer weather. I was a bit chilly, but I hadn't taken the offer of a heater in the room. The owner has a good efficient check-in procedure via WhatsApp. I didn't need to wait around. Note. You might read a review that mentions the spiral staircase. Fair point. If you're a larger person it might be difficult. I'm 168cm 60kgs and all was fine.

Quietness at night (no loud sounds from the street). Thorough and clear communication from staff. Comfortable mattress. Simple but spacious enough for 1 pax. Easy access to wc. Well ilumined spaces.

I had a great stay at NN Guest House in Coimbra. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s right in the heart of the city, which made it super easy to get around and see everything. The host was very attentive to my needs. I’d totally recommend booking here if you're heading to Coimbra and have a short stay there.
