The hotel actually is an estate with a rich history and a large area of garden and golf court. It plays a big part of Coimbra's legend. Even not hanging out, you can enjoy staying in the estate by either exploring the tremendous history stories, or walking through the sophistic garden, or playing sports. The public space of both indoor and outdoor are enough enormous. The staff are super friendly and passionate to delight the guests.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely area. The spa is small and understaffed so you have to book your appointment and wait for someone to assist you.

- Great breakfast. It was nice to have an option to eat outside. Really liked the omelette station - Room was very big - the bathroom was also huge - The swimming pool area was lovely - Not too far away from the main town - we walked it in about 15 minutes. - Beautiful grounds - The staff really make the stay at this hotel. Every single staff member was so kind and would go out of their way to help. They are a credit to the hotel.

Every staff member at the beautiful hotel are fantastic. They are all friendly, enthusiastic and very helpful with any request. The room was large and extremely quiet, even though there seemed to be plenty of guests. The food and wine was amazing

Beautiful property with amazing gardens. The staff were very helpful and the spa was amazing. Everybody in this property was so nice and welcoming. We were upgraded to a suite which made us feel like we lived in those old days, very romantic.
