Great location. Host was lovely and helpful to us. He accommodated us by giving us a choice of rooms and helped us with our bags. Room was very clean. The shower was great with lots of hot water. It was quiet.

The hotel was rated as 1 star but it was fresh, very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The location is close to the station and we could walk to a number of good restaurants as well as the places of interest.

Very close to the train station Coimbra A and close to the main street with restaurants and shops, room was spacious, internet was ok. Breakfast was simple but you can not expect much for 5 euro. People from reception were helpful specially with the heavy luggage on the stairs because I knew it was no elevator.

The owner, Santos, was exceptionally helpful and kind. The hotel is in a good position for walking all over the city and there is a train station and buses nearby. The car park is a 10 minute walk away and Santos let us park in front of the hotel to unload our stuff, before explaining clearly how to get to the underground car park. We left our car there for 2 days without any problem. The internet is excellent and everything is absolutely spotlessly clean. The room was quite large and the comfortable single beds were like small doubles.
