Very friendly and helpful host on arrival. Good English and provided a map of Coimbra with excellent tips for things to see and where to eat and drink.

Very close to the University within 3 mins where you can get tickets to see the chapel, laboratory, and library, and the botanical garden is just across the road and down a bit further by 5 minutes is the city centre with all the shops. The room was clean and there was a kitchen and dining area to cook food if want to along with kettle, fridge, microwave and toaster. Because it's close to the University there are plenty of affordable shops around and the laundromat is just 1 min walk down near the Uni entrance. Staff was very responsive, helpful, and friendly, and I could leave my bag early before check in.

The location is great to see Joanina Library, it less than a 10 minute walk. We found parking right outside, but it is a busy area. The rooms are very basic but clean. Shower has good pressure.

The location is perfect. I think that's the best (with the excellent price). If you're a casual visitor of Coimbre, like us, it was a great spot. I would recommend staying no longer than a couple of days (if you are for more days, this is not really comfortable).

Located just outside the botanical gardens, the walk down to the river bank and restaurants is downhill and very picturesque. There's a few bars close by to the Hotel where you can also get food.

Very nice place to stay for the money spent. Great location, though it can get a bit loud outside at night. The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds and overall nice furniture. The bathrooms had shower gel and shampoo and we received clean towels, which was a sweet surprise.

Small room but clean and with comfy bed. Perfect location, walking distance to city attractions. Private bathroom was tiny but toiletries provided. Kitchen and small backyard on the ground floor where the guests can socialise bit more or cook food.
