Rachelle on reception was really friendly and helpful. She gave us several excellent recommendations, including the pub 5 minutes walk up the road. The room was comfortable and clean, and whilst not overly spacious it was perfectly adequate as a base. Location was grest, literally across the road from the excellent beach, where I spent time watching the surfers and wind surfers. It was a 5 minute drive up the road to a good shopping mall. We went on a day trip to Bellingen and Urunga, both of which are only about 30 minutes away.
