Absolutely exceptional,lovely romantic. This is a gem, from the moment we opened the door you could feel the warmness, quietness of the home. The private hot tub and gardens so private and peaceful. Spotlessly clean. Everything is provided and fully stocked kitchen. Very peaceful place to relax. If you a reading the reviews then please just book and end your search; you will not be disappointed.

Everything. It was beautiful. Host was so welcoming and made us a cake with strawberry’s and chocolate’s for our engagement celebration. House was perfect and had the softest white linen bedding and everything you could wish for. Location perfect for exploring the Lake District and lovely Cockermouth. Hot tub was lovely and private.

Excellent property, and Vanessa the owner was so very helpful! The welcome cake was divine and the nice touches like milk and breakfast items were so very welcoming too after a super long drive. The property is in a great location for exploring the lakes and is well fitted out. The kitchen has every gadget you could dream of. The hot tub is also a nice addition, great after a day exploring!

So much to list as positives about our stay. The accommodation is faultless. Having stayed in autumn we were able to make use of all of the fantastic facilities with a heated hot tub to watch the sunset and the log burner for the romantic sofa cuddles while sharing a bottle of wine and a movie. I can only imagine how beautiful this venue must be on a summers day or even relaxing on a crisp winter evening. Highly recommend.
