Couldn't be more central. Was like stepping back in time to an era of family-run hotels but far more comfortable than I remember in my long-ago youth!

Very central location right in the middle of Clonakilty Staff were very friendly and helpful Breakfast was superb Room was big and airy, beds very comfortable, lovely balcony. Will definitely be back

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. I was there for work and my husband and our dog traveled with me not his occasion, there were great places to sit by the fire where we and our dog were welcome, the food _I am coeliac was delicious and all prepared for me with ease and when meeting couples there was ample comfortable and private spaces for us to sit and work/speak

We were upgraded to an apartment, and it was beautiful. We had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we ever slept in. The rain shower was fantastic and two bathrooms. . I have no complaints about anything. Lovely coffee machine too. Overall it was a lovely stay for our mini honeymoon. Wonderful staff too. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return and recommend the apartment.

What an amazingly charming hotel. I was there for a backgammon tournament and the staff were exceptionally friendly, cheerful and helpful. I’m definitely going back again!

I like everything about this hotel, the food in the restaurant was top class, the rooms were extremely comfortable, the staff and service was amazing, I would highly recommend O'Donovans Hotel.
