The building is very old so floor in bedroom was very creaky as was the bed. The food was excellent but pricey and as we stayed for 4 nights it was limited

Really nice property, good location. On arrival the log fire was burning. The room was fine. The problem we had was the heating wasn’t working in the bar area and the logs order hadn’t arrived and they’d had ran out. I was cold so I sat with my coat on to eat the meal which wasn’t ideal. The food was really good and a good portion

Breakfast was good. We had dinner on both nights and the food was very good with a good range of choices. The local country is beautiful and there is short walk from the hotel to the Dinkley footbridge over the River Ribble.

Beautiful location. Superb pub/hotel. Cosy with fires in 2 bar areas. Supper was superb - best duck spring roll I have ever had. Breakfast was excellent too. Lovely room with nice quality toiletries. All in all it was excellent.
