Great pub in a beautiful spot with glorious views over Pendle hill. This was our second visit and we will definitely return. The rooms are lovely and finished to a high spec. The food and service is also excellent. The staff are friendly and there is a welcoming atmosphere. Can’t rate it highly enough.

Breakfast freshly cooked pastries, choice of cereals. Juices and range of cooked breakfasts. Food overall at hotel super and we enjoyed an evening of theatre at the local village hall. (Stagetwodownham). Local falconry at Oxenhope SMJ and gliding school in Bowland Forrest. Brontë country an hour away. Ideal location to explore parts of Yorkshire and Lancashire. Room very comfortable - Overall excellent.

Our first time staying here, we took our dog and we were all very well looked after. Beautiful view from the room. Really comfortable bed. Food was delicious. Staff were excellent and friendly. Room was Spotlessly clean.

A small intimate boutique b & b. Driven by excellent staff, the ‘pub’ is truly a delight to visit. Great food, service, log fires, and modern bedrooms and bathrooms.
