Desmond is a wonderfully friendly host as many others have noted. The location is excellent and the breakfast room is lovely, as is the breakfast.

We loved the friendliness and hospitality of Desmond, owner, and Joe and Eileen. Thank you so much. The included breakfast was lovingly served in a room furnished with family heirlooms. The breakfast was fantastic with a choice of full Irish breakfast, or pancakes or a vegetarian selection. The shower was hot, the bed comfortable and the room quiet. Desmond was very helpful with local attractions and places to eat.

The guest house was very central, proprietor and staff were very friendly. Bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was exceptional.

We had a great at Ben View Guesthouse. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. All rounded up by a very friendly host and a great breakfast with wonderful service.

Warm and friendly hosts, quality guesthouse centrally located in Clifden with restaurants & pubs nearby. Free car park 2 minutes walk away if no street parking outside available. Cosy clean room with a comfortable bed and a nice ensuite bathroom. Very quiet - room was overlooking the street but couldn't hear any traffic. Breakfast was fantastic and served in a very unique style dining room. Lovely place to stay, great value for money

Guesthouse in centre of Clifden town. Clean, comfortable, warm, cosy room. Fresh, delicious home made breakfast. Friendly, warm welcome from Des. Lovely, helpful man. Cannot say enough good things about our stay at Ben View Guesthouse! We loved it so much. Thank you Des and Eileen for making our trip to Clifden one we will remember. Wonderful experience and excellent hosts.. This B&B is lovely, in a fantastic location in central Clifden. Breakfast was made to order and of really good quality. The family running the B&B are 3rd generation hosts with the family starting the B&B in the 1920s. Highly recommend a stay here. Its quite quirky, but so lovely.. We will stay again when in Clifden.

The breakfast is superb! Three options: 1) full Irish, 2) Smoked salmon+scrambled eggs, 3) pancakes. Proprietor Desmond is friendly.
