The accommodation exceeded all our expectations. The unit was exceptionally comfortable, with some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. The kitchen was a standout feature – fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. In fact, we’ve never stayed at a self-catering place that was so well kitted out. It made cooking and dining in such a pleasure. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and privacy. Close enough to the centre of Clarens, for easy access yet tucked away enough to feel serene and peaceful. The cleanliness of the lodge was impeccable, adding to the overall sense of comfort and relaxation. We couldn’t recommend Serenity Lodge highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Mr.Eric was very prompt with his messages and provided lots of assistance. We were informed of the check-in time, but when we arrived near our stay, our car had problems and we were overdue. He went out of his way to come to the location when we asked if there was anywhere we could get it fixed, which was very reassuring. We booked two rooms for our family of four and each room had a fully equipped kitchen and living room, so we were comfortable in either room. We had braai for dinner, and it was so luxurious to have local Clarens beer and braai while watching the edge of the mountains turn to sunset. We thought the kitchen's espresso machine, ice block, and salt and pepper were very kind. We could also borrow the washing machine in the laundry room for a comfortable stay. We were only able to stay one night this time because there was only one day available when we made our reservation, but we would have loved to stay several days. He also booked the golf course for us so we were able to get around the course, making our stay at Clarens a very fulfilling one.

A Serene Getaway with Outstanding Hospitality We recently stayed at Serenity Lodge in Clarens for just one night, and it was an experience we won’t forget. The host was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. His attention to detail truly stood out, making us feel right at home. The quality of the products in the unit was exceptional, from the furnishings to the little thoughtful touches throughout. Even though our stay was short, we could see the care and effort that goes into making Serenity Lodge a perfect retreat. We would highly recommend Serenity Lodge to anyone visiting Clarens and can’t wait to return for a longer stay next time!
